About the Program

 

Join our growing, vibrant agency providing innovative disability services to young people, individuals and families on the NSW Central Coast – Broken Bay area.

 

The role of Area Coordinator will report to the General Manager Disability Futures and will be responsible for setting up, building and growing the service and coordinating the disabilities team on the Central Coast.  The Area Coordinator will establish and ultimately lead a diverse team to deliver commercially sound person-centred disability programs to participants in line with CatholicCare's mission and strategic objectives.

 

This role is responsible for:  

  • Building a centre based and mobile day services program for NDIS funded clients
  • Leading and developing the team to deliver programmes for NDIS funded clients
  • Developing strategies to achieve new client acquisition and client retention objectives
  • Developing operational plans and managing the budget for the site
  • Recruitment and induction of staff
  • Creating an environment where a welcoming, professional culture exists

The key requirements for this role include:

  • Ability to plan and implement new and innovative programs for people with a disability
  • Be actively involved in staff planning and overseeing implementation of staffing strategies
  • Commercial/business acumen, sound budget management skills and financial literacy
  • Strong relationship building, negotiation skills and time management.
