 About the role

 

CatholicCare Broken Bay has big plans to invest in technology to better meet the needs of the clients and communities we serve. We therefore require a Power BI (Business Intelligence) Developer to work collaboratively with our business stakeholders to provide data to support and drive our business decisions and growth.

This is a newly created Permanent Full-time position reporting directly to our Chief Information Officer. It is based in Pennant Hills and working from home options are available.

 

Duties

  • Identify and build data ingestion pipelines from external data sources.
  • Develop SQL scripts and Power BI (DAX code) to curate transactional datasets from internal system and external data sources.
  • Contribute to the planning, design, development and delivery of a contemporary data warehouse.
  • Power BI report and dashboard development.
  • Contribute to the development of a governance framework with respect to Power BI data models, measures, and reports.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience using ETL tools (Talend, Dell Boomi, Informatica).
  • Experience using cloud-based ingestions tools (Stitch, FiveTran).
  • Experience connecting to multiple, disparate data sources, including SQL Server via Azure, Salesforce and data files in SharePoint/Teams.
  • Current Driver’s License.
  • Criminal History Check
