About the role
CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is seeking a Clinical Practice and Quality Manager, with clinical experienced in a variety of settings. The successful applicant will be able to apply their knowledge to build processes and systems which support good practice, at the same time ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements through managing relevant audits in disability and aged care services.
This is a Permanent Full-time opportunity based in Pennant Hills, Sydney, with some travel to other sites in the Diocese. Some flexibility around working from home may be considered. Working From Home flexibility may be considered.
Lead the planning and preparation for and administration of external audits to support CatholicCare in meeting auditing and accreditation requirements.
Provide advice, support and training to Management and staff in relation to best clinical practice
Inform the review of policies and guidelines relating to clinical care
Support risk management systems and processes
Identify, design and implement quality improvement initiatives
Communicate changes to the NDIS, ACIS and ACQ&SC to the General Manager Disability Futures and Seniors to ensure on going compliance across all services.
Degree level qualifications in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or a related field.
Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of the provision of high-quality NDIS and Aged Care funded Services, including knowledge of licensing and accreditation processes and requirements.
Previous experience in direct service delivery or direct care
Experience in leading or contributing to an external audit highly desirable
Project management skills and strong organisation and time management skills.
An understanding of contemporary practices and standards in NDIS and Aged Care services.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and abilities.
Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and provide expert advice on emerging trends and issues in NDIS and Aged Care Services.
