About the role This is an amazing opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic candidate to gain valuable Children Services experience in a supportive environment, while being supported to complete their Certificate III in Children Services. This is a Max-term Full-time position where you will combine working at our Early Learning Centre in Waitara with completing your Certificate III (3 hours Study time per week included)! The contract is 12 months and includes a Monthly Rostered Day Off. This is an opportunity not to be missed! Duties - Assist the Coordinator/Teacher and the team to implement the program
- Develop a positive and supportive relationship with children
- Help maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Establish and maintain good relationships with families
Requirements - Willingness to complete a Certificate III in Children Services through a Traineeship.
- Ability to communicate with and build positive relationships with children and their families
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Completion of Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT001 or previous equivalent)
- A Working With Children Check and Criminal History Check is required
